Toomai Square restaurant: CCTV and background music

A large, open-plan pan-Asian restaurant and bar with full-height glazing and an exposed industrial ceiling. We installed a CCTV system covering the entrances, dining areas and service points, and a background music system to fill the space evenly.

Cameras and speakers were mounted along the exposed cable trays, so the equipment sits with the restaurant’s design instead of fighting it.

Frequently asked questions

Can I watch my CCTV on my phone?
Yes. Every system we install can be viewed live and played back on your phone, tablet or computer, with alerts when people or vehicles are detected after hours.
Do I need CCTV signs in my shop or restaurant?
Yes. If your cameras record people, ICO guidance says you should display signs telling people CCTV is in use and who to contact. We advise on positions and supply signage with the installation.
Can each member of staff have their own alarm code?
Yes. Staff can have their own codes, fobs or app access, so you can see who set and unset the alarm and remove access when someone leaves.
Can background music play at different volumes in different areas?
Yes. We install zoned systems, so the dining room, bar, toilets and outside areas can each have their own volume, controlled from a phone or a simple wall control.
Can you install around our opening hours?
Yes. We plan installations around trading hours and keep work areas tidy, so the business can keep running.
Can you take over our existing system?
Yes. We take over, service and upgrade existing alarms and CCTV fitted by other companies, and reuse cabling and devices that are in good order.
