Frequently asked questions

Can you price the security package from our drawings?
Yes. Email your floor plans and any specification to info@satfocussecurity.co.uk and we will return a priced design showing device positions. We can then confirm it with a site visit before first fix.
When do you need to be on site?
Twice in most projects: first fix while walls and ceilings are open, so cables can be run and labelled, and second fix after decoration to fit, programme and commission the equipment. We work to your programme and can attend site meetings.
Can you split the quote into first fix and second fix?
Yes. We price first fix and second fix separately so they line up with your stage payments and programme.
Can our electrician run the cables?
We can work either way. We can run all security cabling ourselves, or give your electrician a clear cable schedule and device layout and then complete the second fix and commissioning.
Which systems can you include in one package?
Intruder alarms, CCTV, video door entry, access control, data cabling and Wi-Fi, and audio-visual systems such as background music and TV points, all from one installer and one point of contact.
What does the client receive at handover?
A working, tested system, app set-up, user training, and a completion certificate with system details for the client’s records.
