Blocks of flats
An entrance panel at the front door and a handset or monitor in every flat, with a trades button, fob access and remote door release.
Audio and video door entry for blocks of flats, converted houses, homes and offices. New systems, upgrades from audio to video — often on the existing wiring — and repairs. Surveyed in person, priced in writing, installed with minimal disruption to residents.
New systems, upgrades from audio to video, and repairs — for houses, converted Victorian terraces, purpose-built blocks and commercial buildings.
An entrance panel at the front door and a handset or monitor in every flat, with a trades button, fob access and remote door release.
A video intercom at the front door or gate, a monitor indoors and an app so you can see and speak to visitors from anywhere.
App-enabled systems let residents answer the door and release it remotely, ideal for deliveries and visitors when you are out.
Faulty panels, dead handsets and broken door releases repaired, and old audio systems upgraded to video, often on the existing wiring.
Often an old audio system with handsets that no longer work. A two-wire video system usually runs over the existing cable, so residents get video without new wiring through every flat.
Larger blocks need a coded or fob entrance, a trades button for deliveries, and a system the managing agent can maintain. We design for the number of flats and the way the entrance is used.
A video intercom at the door or gate lets you see who is there before you answer, and open the gate from inside or from your phone.
Video entry at reception, combined with fob or PIN access for staff, so visitors are seen and let in while staff come and go freely.
Fire safety: doors on an escape route must always open from the inside. Every lock we fit releases safely on a power failure, and exit buttons or handles are provided on the inside.
Quoted by make and model, chosen to suit the building and whether existing wiring can be reused.
Starting prices so you can budget. Your exact price comes from the survey and is fixed in writing.
Larger blocks are priced after a survey. Anything that adds cost — new cable runs, door hardware or access control — is flagged at the survey, never on the day.
We visit, walk the property with you and look at the entrance, the door and the existing wiring before anything is priced.
Every item by make and model, the labour and the payment terms. Usually with you within 24 hours.
Dust sheets down, tidy cable routes, and everything tested in front of you before we leave.
Apps set up on your phones, everyone shown how it works, and a completion certificate for your records.

A video intercom for a house starts from £990 including VAT. For a small block of two to four flats, an audio door entry system starts from £1,495 including VAT and a video system from £2,695 including VAT. Larger blocks are priced after a survey. The price includes the entrance panel, the handsets or monitors, the door release and the installation.
Often, yes. Modern two-wire systems from Comelit and Hikvision run over the existing cable between the entrance panel and each flat, so a video system can replace an old audio one without rewiring the building. We test the existing cable at the survey and tell you whether it can be reused.
Yes, with an app-enabled monitor in the flat. Residents can see and talk to the visitor and release the door from their phone, even when they are not at home.
Yes. We provide a written survey report and quote suitable for leaseholder consultation, work around residents during installation, and keep disruption to the entrance to a minimum. We can also supply fobs and manage the handover to each flat.
Options include a timed trades button that works during set hours, fob or code access issued to Royal Mail, or residents releasing the door remotely from the app. We set it up the way the building wants it to work.
Entrance doors on an escape route are fitted with locks that release safely when power is lost, so people can always get out. The door still closes and latches mechanically, and the system resumes as soon as power returns.
Yes. We repair and replace faulty entrance panels, handsets and monitors, re-register monitors after a change of owner, and fix door releases that no longer work, on most common makes.
A house video intercom is usually fitted in a day. A small block is typically one to two days, depending on whether existing cables can be reused. We agree the timing with residents in advance.
A 12-month guarantee on our installation work, alongside the manufacturer's warranty on the equipment we supply. You also receive a completion certificate for your records.
