You need a Texecom alarm on the Texecom Connect app
Guardian works through the Texecom Connect app, so your Texecom alarm has to be online and linked to it. Many systems are already there. If yours isn’t, it is usually a quick upgrade rather than a new alarm.

- Older Texecom panel? We can add a communicator and connect it to the app
- Another brand of alarm? We can upgrade or replace it with Texecom

What is Texecom Guardian?
Texecom Guardian is a professional guard response service built into the Texecom Connect app. After an alarm activation you can request a security officer from the app, and Aura’s 24/7 control room sends a vetted, SIA-licensed responder to your property.
Do I need new equipment for Texecom Guardian?
No. Guardian is built into the Texecom Connect app and is switched on by default, so there is no extra hardware. Your Texecom alarm does need to be connected to the app. If it isn’t, we can connect or upgrade it.
Who attends my property?
A vetted, SIA-licensed security officer from Aura, one of the UK’s leading technology-enabled security providers. You get live updates in the app, and the police are called where required.
Does Guardian replace a monitored alarm?
Not necessarily. Guardian lets you request a guard on demand from the app. A monitored alarm is watched 24/7 by a monitoring centre. For Smartcom Pro systems, Guardian can run alongside Texecom Monitor without affecting the existing signalling.
How many call-outs are included?
Texecom says call-outs are unlimited, subject to fair usage. Ask us for the current pricing and terms before you decide.
Can I use Guardian with a Pyronix, Ajax or other alarm?
No. Guardian is a Texecom service that runs through Texecom Connect. If you have another brand, we can advise on upgrading to a Texecom system or on that brand’s own options.
Is Texecom Guardian available in my area?
Texecom Guardian is a UK service. We install and upgrade Texecom alarms across all 32 London boroughs, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Middlesex.
